Ogasawara Mirin Geheimrezept

MIRIN 4 years aged is produced by a small family manufacture using only Japanese sweet rice, hand-made processed koji and Rice Shochu. It is carefully fermented and matured for 4 years. It is rich and mellow with elegant sweetness in the aftertaste. It features an intense umami taste with spicy note. Also good as tasty Liqueur.

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

For high quality sake, rice is polished prior to processing with the goal of eliminating the bran and protein which encase the starch held at the center of the rice grain.
