Rihaku Caro Pink

Think pink! The beautiful rosé color of this sake, brewed from black-purple Shikokumai rice, is sure to put sake lovers in a good mood. The sake was brewed with rare peony yeast obtained from the area surrounding the brewery. The scent of spring blossoms and red berries, full-bodied rice notes, round acidity, and umami come together in utmost harmony. Like a strong, high-quality rosé wine, this pink sake goes well with strong dishes such as beef tartare with shiso-gel or octopus with tomato foam. Founded 1882 in Shimane prefecture. The brewery is named after the great Chinese Poet Rihaku (chin. Li Bai, 701-762 a.c.). The brewery has high quality parameters and uses the best local rice from the region.
