かねいち Products from Kaneichi

Kaneichi was founded in 1880 in a small village of Wakayama Prefecture. Sansho pepper has been growing wild in this areas since ancient times. The founder noticed its high value as an aromatic spice and grafted the best sansho tree as a parent tree. The saplings were distributed free of charge to local farmers. Today, Wakayama Prefecture became the largest producer of sansho in Japan. Since its foundation they have been offering the  best quality Wakayama sansho.
