At first, URAKASUMI is drunk chilled and has a refreshing effect. When warmed in the mouth, it acquires its velvety herbal flavour. I prepared the ragout without adding herbs. The herbal flavour of URAGASUMI complements it tastefully. The sweetness of soy sauce, miso and sugar and the rich buttery flavour combine to create a distinctive taste that goes perfectly with the refreshing URAKASUMI.

浦霞 Urakasumi No.12
Fresh and elegant Junmai Ginjo sake with a hint of muscat aroma. Brewed with the sake yeast "No.12", which was discovered in Urakasumi's sake mash in 1960's.
