A muscadet from the Loire is often my favorite accompaniment to mussels that have a saltiness. Urakasumi No. 12 has a similar spiciness and saltiness, but then has a much more elegant finish than most wines and stays in the mouth for a long time. No big contrasts, but the harmony of the components makes the sake win.

Fresh and elegant Junmai Ginjo sake with a hint of muscat aroma. Brewed with the sake yeast "No.12", which was discovered in Urakasumi's sake mash in 1960's.
