This sake lead the Ginjo boom in the 90s and represents the classic Ginjo style from Yamagata: highly aromatic and dry. Notes of cherry blossom, anis and lilly. Beautiful floral bouquet and fine, light umami. As aperitif, with starters and lighter dishes.

Producer: 出羽桜 dewazakura
The brewery was founded 1892 in Yamagata. The use of local water, local rice and the brewing philosophy of their Toji (master brewer) are the basis for their great success. Their sake are winning numerous excellent awards in and outside Japan.
